I’m an illustrator and designer working in character-driven storytelling, branding, and visual worlds with personality. I'm from Appalachia, and as a result, my work blends illustration with narrative thinking. We have a strong history of telling stories, making our own way ... and appreciating the intricacies of things.

 

I'm fueled by nature, geek and fan culture, expressive character design, and the general chaos of being a functional human in a digital world. I like strong visuals, sharp storytelling, and color.

I also hold advanced academic training in arts administration and creative leadership, including a Ph.D. in Arts Administration. Professionally, I work in digital strategy and brand direction, overseeing creative systems, print production, and multi-platform storytelling in higher education.

That combination means I can both design a cohesive visual system and explain why it works.
